2 Ls against 2 of the worst teams in each conference in the Kings and Debbies in less than a week, not a good look.

The pathetic defense they play on the road is concerning, so many breakdowns. Up 3-0, 4-1 and to lose, that is insane and should never happen. They can't possible go 3 straight back to back situations without using their back up again can they?.

What do you make of the Max story?

You’re an expansion team. You can’t win every game and go to the SC finals every year no matter how hard Gary Bettman tries to get you there

First off, thanks for reading and the comment. I agree with the defensive breakdowns. Most have been of the same variety, leaving too many odd-man rushes the other way. I guess that's the nature of the beast when each pair has an aggressive offensive-minded guy. They seem to think Fleury can do it all and stop the odd-man chances.

The Pacioretty situation is worrisome. Seems like someone was trying to be secretive and then management was upset about Gallant's comments about Max being fine and making it seem like he was going to be a healthy scratch. We will never really know because of how "hush-hush" this organization is, especially now that Gallant said he will no longer comment on injuries or lineup decisions.

Head scratching stuff to say the least.

Knights finish road trip with a tuff 1-0 lost to Columbus. Though , Subban got some work and looked good and it gave Fluery much needed rest on a back to back with no game till Thursday when, they return home .
